Every Hushed number sends texts and places calls, and they sell US, Canadian and UK area codes plus international numbers. We do neither. If either is a hard requirement, stop reading and buy Hushed.
On Hushed each plan carries one number, so more numbers means more plans. Here 100 numbers sit on one $29.99 plan, and burning one is a button rather than a billing change.

Our minutes count forwarded calls only, rounded up to the minute, and inbound texts are never billed. Past your monthly allowance, forwarded minutes are 5 cents each, capped at $50 a month on Basic and $100 on Pro.
The take
More countries, and every number can call and text out. We are US-only and receive-only, and neither is a setting you can turn on. Those are real reasons to buy Hushed instead, and they are the first thing on this page for that reason.
Hushed prices a line. We price a pool, so the cost of using a fresh number for every company you deal with stays roughly flat instead of stacking up one subscription at a time. Extra numbers past the plan cap are 50 cents a month each on Pro.
Creating, tagging and burning numbers happens on a web page, and the calls land on the mobile you already answer. Hushed can forward to your mobile too, but the account itself lives inside its app.
What ExpressNumber cannot do: Numbers are receive-only. You cannot call or text out from them. They cannot reach 911, and they are not a replacement for your real line. Some banks and services refuse virtual numbers, so keep your real one for those. US numbers only today. If one of those is a dealbreaker, Hushed is the better buy.
