# ExpressNumber > ExpressNumber gives you disposable US phone numbers. You hand one to a company instead of your own number, calls and texts to it forward to the phone you already carry, and you burn it in one tap when that company starts selling you on. https://www.expressnumber.com ## Company ExpressNumber is built and operated by Momentum Labs (https://www.mlabs.vc/), the venture studio behind VoiceDrop, 1Lookup, Emailchaser, 1Capture, Prymatica, TeamPredict, Batmail, ExpressNumber and PaidHype. Parent organization: Momentum Labs. Momentum Labs is the data controller for this service, as stated on https://www.expressnumber.com/privacy. The line type, carrier and risk level on the spam lookup tool come from 1Lookup (https://www.1lookup.io), another product from the same studio. ## What it is - Real US phone numbers on carrier networks, issued through a licensed carrier, not a shared inbox on a website. - Calls and texts to a number forward to your own verified mobile, so you answer on the phone you already have. - One number per company is the point: when the spam starts you know who sold you, and you burn that number only. - Burning is one tap and it is permanent. A burned number sits in quarantine for 30 days before it goes back to the carrier. Plans: - Free: $0, 1 number and 50 forwarded minutes that never reset. No card required. - Basic: $9.99 a month, 5 numbers, 100 minutes a month, 5 cents a minute after that up to $50, $1 a month per extra number. - Pro: $29.99 a month, 100 numbers, 1,000 minutes a month, 5 cents a minute after that up to $100, $0.50 a month per extra number. ## What it cannot do - Numbers are receive-only. You cannot call or text out from them. - They cannot reach 911, and they are not a replacement for your real line. - Some banks and services refuse virtual numbers, so keep your real one for those. - US numbers only today. ## Facts, with sources Each of these appears on the site with the same source. - 73: Third parties received the name, phone number and email from a single submitted health insurance quote form.
