Hide My Email, for your phone number

Never give out your real phone number again.

Hand companies a free burner number instead. Calls and texts still reach your phone. One tap deletes it when the spam starts.

  • Live in about a minute
  • Nothing to install
  • Burn it whenever

Example number. Yours is live in about a minute.

What actually happens

You filled in one form. Now they all have your number.

Your name, number and email went to that site, to its partners, and to whoever paid the most for a fresh lead. Researchers who did this on 105 sites logged 8,214 calls back, half of the first ones within two minutes of hitting submit.

The two labelled points are the study's finding. The dots stand for the calls that follow, not a recording of one form.

You already do this with email

Hide My Email, for your phone number.

If you have an iPhone you already know the idea. Apple hands out a random email address, mail sent to it lands in your real inbox, and the sender never sees your real address. ExpressNumber does exactly that with a phone number.

What Apple does

A throwaway address like k8x2p@icloud.com goes on the form. The mail still reaches you. The company never learns your real address, and you can switch the alias off.

Burner
Your phone

What we do

A real US number like +1 415 555 0142 goes on the form. The call still reaches you, on the phone you already answer. The company never learns your real number, and you can burn that one whenever you want.

Three steps, about a minute

Get a number, hand that one over, keep yours private.

Nothing to install to answer a call, and nothing to change with your carrier.

  1. 1

    Pick an area code

Choose where the number should look local. Your US number is live in seconds.

  2. 2

    Give that one out

Quote forms, dealerships, gyms, listings, free trials. Use a different number for every company, so you always know who sold you.

  3. 3

    Answer on your own phone

Calls and texts forward to your real phone and ring like any other call. The caller only ever sees the burner.

Before and after

Same form, two versions of the next two years.

The only difference is which number you typed in.

This is now a permanent line to you.

  • You type your real number into a quote form.
  • It is resold within minutes, and then resold again.
  • The calls never stop, because the number never changes.
  • Your only real fix is changing your number: a carrier, a week of admin, and telling everyone you know.

This one is disposable.

  • You type a burner into the same form.
  • It gets resold too. That is fine. It was never yours to keep.
  • When it starts ringing, you burn it and it goes quiet.
  • Your fix takes one tap, and nobody who actually matters notices anything.

Where a burner belongs

Never give these people the number your mother calls.

Any form that asks for a phone number is a form that can sell it. Use a different number for every one of them.

Dealerships and car brokers

Hand over a number you can delete on the drive home.

Insurance quotes

One form, and the phone does not stop for months. Not on your number.

Agents and mortgage brokers

Whose business model is reselling the lead you just became.

Marketplace listings

Sell the couch without giving 400 strangers a permanent line to you.

Gyms, events and free trials

Anything carrying a "we may share your details with partners" line.

Sign-up and delivery codes

Verification texts land in your dashboard, tagged so you can find them.

One tap

When a number starts attracting spam, burn it.

You are not the one who has to move. The number they sold is. Burning takes one tap, and the calls stop the second you confirm.

Nobody inherits your spam
A burned number is quarantined for 30 days before it can go back into circulation.
Your history stays
Messages you already received stay in your dashboard after the number is gone.
Burning is permanent
So we make you confirm it properly. A burned number cannot be brought back. On the free plan you can replace your number once per calendar month.

Burn this number

+1 415 555 0190

Gym signup. Live for 4 months, 61 calls in the last 30 days. Burning stops every call and text to this number immediately, and it cannot be undone.

Go on, press it. Nothing real is burned here.

No new habits

Do not change your life. Just protect your number.

Your phone stays your phone and your real number stays your real number. The only thing that changes is what you write on the form.

Forward

Calls ring through to your real phone like any other call. No app to sit inside, no second handset, no new SIM.

Change it whenever you like, per number. It takes effect in about a second.

Your family, your boss and your doctor keep the number they already have.

Why not just

The four fixes people try first, and why they fail.

Change your number

A carrier appointment, a week of admin, every contact and every account updated. Then the new number gets sold too, because you still hand it to people.

Carry a second SIM

Money and hassle for one extra number that also gets resold. One spare number is a different number, not a private one.

Use a burner app

You have to live inside the app to see anything. ExpressNumber forwards to the phone you already answer, so there is nothing new to check.

Pricing

Minutes count forwarded calls only, rounded up to the minute. Inbound texts are never billed.

Past your monthly allowance, forwarded minutes are 5 cents each, capped at $50 a month on Basic and $100 on Pro. At the cap, forwarding pauses and texts keep arriving.

Numbers are receive-only: they take calls and texts, they do not make them.

What we do with your number

A privacy product that tracks you is not a privacy product.

Your real number exists here for exactly one reason: so your phone rings when a call comes in. We never show it to a caller, and we never sell it.

Callers see the burner, never you

Your real number is the forwarding destination. It is not shown to the caller and is not part of what a company receives when you fill in their form.

No call recordings

We do not record forwarded calls. We keep the call time and its length, because that is what your minutes are billed from.

Nothing sold to advertisers or brokers

Selling contact data is the problem this product exists to solve. Every company we rely on to run the service is named in the privacy policy.

Burned means gone

A burned number stops forwarding immediately and sits in a 30 day quarantine before it can go back into circulation, so nobody inherits your spam.

What it is not: Numbers are receive-only. You cannot call or text out from them. They cannot reach 911, and they are not a replacement for your real line. Some banks and services refuse virtual numbers, so keep your real one for those. US numbers only today.

Questions

Honest answers, including the ones others bury.

Most will. Codes from stores, delivery apps, marketplaces and most sign-up flows land in your dashboard in seconds. Some services reject virtual numbers outright, and when they do there is no workaround on our side. We are not going to promise you 100 percent, because nobody can.

No. Numbers are receive-only: they take calls and texts, they never make them. You cannot dial out, and you cannot reply to a text from your dashboard. The only message we ever send is the one-time code that verifies your forwarding number.

No. These numbers cannot place a call of any kind, and that includes 911. This is not a replacement for a phone line. Keep your real one for emergencies.

Forwarding stops immediately, so calls and texts to that number stop reaching you. It then sits in quarantine for 30 days before it can go back into circulation, so nobody inherits your spam. Burning is permanent: you cannot get that number back, so move anything you signed up for with it first. Your message history stays in the dashboard, and the number's metadata is deleted 90 days after it is released.
